Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our finance team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by conducting thorough audits of all revenue centers within our organization.

  • Verify and reconcile daily revenue from all income centers as reported in the Income Journal
  • Collect and audit paperwork from all revenue centers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Review and balance rebates, paid outs, miscellaneous charges, and other financial transactions in the Property Management System
  • Prepare and distribute daily business reports summarizing revenue data
  • Maintain accurate and complete filing systems for all financial reports and source documentation
  • Perform detailed audits on catering functions and other special events
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and analysis of bank accounts and balance sheet items
  • Handle guest inquiries related to accounting matters, including folio requests and credit card inquiries
  • Process invoices for miscellaneous guest charges in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies
  • Stay updated on UAE financial regulations and reporting standards to ensure compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in financial management software, including Sun System, Opera, Micros, and Vision
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial reporting standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organizational abilities and efficiency in managing multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in financial practices
  • Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
  • Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates
