Job description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate a HR and Talent Management Strategy to achieve the organization's vision, mission, and goals, creating value for stakeholders. Regularly communicate with the Board on key human resources matters.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to source and select the right candidates effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and drive talent management strategies to align staffing with business needs. Create systems to attract talent, identify critical needs, develop core competencies, and plan for succession.
  • Increase staff retention and productivity through strategies that enhance engagement, leadership and staff development, feedback, coaching, career pathing, and fostering a strong organizational culture.
  • Lead administration of performance management, ensuring managers are equipped for ongoing feedback, collaboration, and addressing performance gaps.
  • Mitigate legal risks by providing training, managing conflicts, investigating complaints, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, ensure organizational compliance, and properly manage employee records.
  • Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages, develop a Total Rewards philosophy, review market data, and manage related processes.
  • Implement HR technology strategies to facilitate transactions, improve service delivery, and support decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 10 years of HR generalist experience working with senior leadership on HR and organizational development strategies. Experience supervising staff.
  • Experience in talent management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology implementation.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance issues.
  • Excellent listening, probing, and strategic guidance abilities.
  • Expertise in analysis, decision-making, project management, and process improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • High judgment, sensitivity, and discretion.
  • Experience working in crypto or IT companies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
