Description

Blackline Safety is hiring a Client Success Manager to join our expanding team based in the UAE. This role will be responsible for retaining our customer base in the region within an assigned book of business. The successful candidate will work directly with customers, distribution partners, and other stakeholders, communicating proactively and resolving issues to maximize the value customers derive from Blackline Safety products and services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Renew customer service contracts through our distribution networks, preparing renewal quotes and ensuring timely completion.
  2. Manage account renewal negotiations effectively, including creating appropriate quotations, with a goal of completing over 90% of renewals each quarter.
  3. Build and maintain productive professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts to ensure long-term retention and growth.
  4. Identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts, collaborating with sales management to achieve results.
  5. Plan and conduct annual, quarterly, and other business reviews to ensure customers receive maximum value from their Blackline solutions.
  6. Address customer concerns promptly, mobilizing internal resources to ensure satisfaction and continuous product improvement.
  7. Develop account plans in partnership with Blackline teams and distribution partners.
  8. Act as an ambassador to help clients realize the full benefits of Blackline products and services.
  9. Provide feedback to product management on long-term trends affecting customer satisfaction and retention.
  10. Seek continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, or a technical field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern cultures, proficiency in Arabic, and a proven track record in the region.
  • At least 3 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, account management, or related roles involving SaaS or subscription renewals.
  • Industry experience in gas detection or similar fields is desirable; oil and gas experience is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and experience working in an international business environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP, and CRM applications.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing suitable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
