Job Purpose

Leads a team of Workshop Technicians in a work center located at a single shop facility to ensure that production and performance commitments are fulfilled.

Job Description

1. Responsible for production performance of the assigned shift to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery requirements.
2. Determines manufacturing priorities based on weekly production schedules and makes daily assignments.
3. Resolves technician issues and conflicts, acting as a catalyst to provide technicians with everything needed to complete work.
4. Coordinates the intervention of support services (maintenance, quality, methods, etc.) within the production unit.
5. Interprets specifications and assesses the acceptability of ongoing production.
6. Implements departmental safety programs to ensure employee safety.
7. Ensures process documentation and employee compliance with approved procedures, processes, and standards.

You are meant for this job if:

• You have a high school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Petroleum.
• You are proficient in reading, interpreting, and evaluating the accuracy of drawings and technical documentation in assembly.
• You have knowledge and experience with integrated systems, complex equipment, and techniques.
