Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer specializing in Bridges and Underpasses to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our site supervision team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Familiarity with the construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai.
2. Follow up on inspection set-ups for installations and review inspectors' performance regularly.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project components.
4. Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures for inspections and test plans.
5. Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concerns.
6. Check and coordinate all assigned services.
7. Coordinate with the Head Office (Design) for material reviews and design queries.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering supervision, focusing on bridges and underpasses.
3. Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
6. Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAE.
7. RTA Pre-Approval is highly desirable.
8. Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plus.
