Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily HR operations, handling administrative duties, maintaining employee records, and managing our electronic filing (e-filing) system. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, organization, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, onboarding materials, and confirmation letters.
  • Maintain and update employee records both in physical and electronic formats (e-filing).
  • Ensure the proper and secure archiving of all HR documents in compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting attendance, leave, and other necessary information.
  • Coordinate and administer training and development programs.
  • Maintain records of employee leaves, absences, attendance, and overtime.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in performance appraisal cycles and probation evaluation tracking.
  • Contribute to the improvement of HR procedures and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of HR projects such as policy updates, HR audits, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors, such as insurance providers or government authorities.
  • Manage general HR administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, data entry, and handling correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in HR with a strong background in administrative support and e-filing/document management systems.
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, UAE labor law (or relevant local labor laws), and HR documentation standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRMS software.
  • Experience using digital or cloud-based e-filing/document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced or multinational work environment.
  • Familiarity with employee self-service portals or HRIS systems.
