In order to strengthen our Technical Team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Pavement Engineer based in the UAE. 

The successful individual will work on a range of challenging projects, mainly in the Middle East but also potentially in Asia-Pacific or Eastern Africa.

• Be responsible for the project management and/or technical delivery of a variety of bids and projects in the field of pavement engineering.
• Provide thought leadership on Airport Pavement aspects.
• Support the development and enhancement of client relationships with a number of public and private sector clients. 
• Contribute to the delivery of consultancy projects.

Profile

• Degree in civil engineering.
• Knowledge of ICAO and/or FAA standards for the design of pavements for airfield.
• Knowledge of pavement and geotechnical engineering demonstrated by experience of pavement design, investigation and research.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of pavement design methods as well as structural pavement models.
• Sound understanding of the principles and limitations of geotechnical ground condition, structural pavement analysis for both rigid (concrete) and flexible pavements.
• The specification, execution, analysis and interpretation of a comprehensive range of geotechnical and pavement investigation and evaluation techniques.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Proven track report on medium to large size Airport projects.
• Experience of working with different clients for project delivery. 
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, report writing, presentations to Clients and during Conferences.
• Ability to work in a client facing environment. 
• Ability and keen to work in a collaborative team environment. 
• English fluent, Arabic would be a plus.
• GCC experience would a plus.
• Knowledge of Pavement/Asset Management System would be a plus.
