Job summary

A leading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Cabin Mechanic to support cabin maintenance activities. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft cabin components, ensuring safety and compliance with approved procedures. You will work closely with the Cabin Maintenance Manager and team, handling various tasks related to aircraft interiors.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Cabin Mechanic

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Type: Contract

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Cabin Mechanic to support cabin maintenance activities. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cabin components of aircraft, ensuring all work is carried out safely, correctly, and in line with approved procedures. You will report directly to the Cabin Maintenance Manager and follow instructions from the Cabin Maintenance Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair aircraft interiors including seats, galleys, toilets, lighting, carpets, and other cabin elements
  • Identify and rectify cabin defects within scope of approval
  • Complete and certify all maintenance documentation accurately
  • Perform transit, daily, and weekly cabin checks as assigned
  • Use only approved tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Follow all relevant maintenance manuals (AMM, CMM, SRM)
  • Understand and work within the limits of your technical approval
  • Carry out any additional cabin-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Secondary school education with relevant work experience OR Aircraft Maintenance Technology Degree/Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft cabin maintenance
  • LHT Cabin Experts course completed and passed
  • Experience with aircraft electronics and components is preferred
  • FAA or EASA repair certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of networking systems is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
