JOB PURPOSE:
To assist the line manager in managing client accounts, portfolios, and relationships for the assigned portfolio; enhance service quality levels; undertake day-to-day activities and client interactions to ensure team objectives are met while maintaining client satisfaction.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Client and Market Analysis
- Participate in financial analysis of clients and their industries/markets to identify opportunities and risks.
Client Relationship Management
- Support clients in daily transactions, inquiries, and documentation needs.
- Coordinate with departments on credit/facility requests to meet client needs promptly.
- Assist SRMs and RMs in client calls and follow-ups regarding services and requirements.
- Review facility documents and ensure timely submission of renewal or missing documents.
- Convey potential client acquisitions to the line manager, providing client needs and due diligence information for credit assessments.
- Stay informed about local business developments to identify opportunities and contribute to strategic planning.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Support administrative and transactional activities, including client calls, documentation, pipeline updates, and maintaining records in CRM.
- Manage KYC and compliance requirements in line with bank policies and regulations.
- Assist in managing the deal pipeline and resolving document deficiencies.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work processes.
- Monitor service levels, address complaints, and handle account closures and inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
MIS and Reports
- Assist in preparing accurate reports and statements as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in business administration preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with customers and teams.
- Knowledge of banking sector, FAB’s products, and business strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in computer systems, banking software, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Skills in credit analysis and forex trading.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in banking or similar area.
