Job Description
As the Project Manager of Infrastructure for IT for Pre-opening Resorts, you will play a pivotal role in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication documents. Your ability to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner will be crucial to the project's success
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Communication: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Expectation Management: Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Dependency and Timeline Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables
- Reporting and Documentation: Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
- Change and Risk Management: Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
- Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Multi-project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education
- Bachelor's degree required in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum age 21
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
