We are looking for a passionate Lead Marketing who will lead execution of all Marketing activities across UAE and Gulf.

The position is located in Dubai and reports to the Director-Marketing.

What awaits you in this role

  • Establishing retail channel's trade marketing strategies and executes associated plans to accomplish defined business objectives across product categories
  • Establishes the basics and principles of proper Field Team management (Brand Ambassadors/ Merchandisers, Promoters) organizations in the Gulf region while supporting countries to overcome lack of knowledge and operational difficulties
  • Collaborates with product managers and sales, marketing team to build sales promotions and product communications
  • Prepares trade promotional plans in designated channels targeting key customers, assists and guides local markets during the execution phase for the instore design and retail assets,
  • Briefs and manages internal and external agencies
  • Manages point of sale and demo materials including Leaflets, Catalogues, Trade kits, etc. (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment) by finding the most efficient solutions to enrich the shopper journey
  • Creates distinctive regional solutions to enrich local markets shopper events and activations
  • Devises, implements and monitors the success of BTL activities, especially with respect to ongoing sales. Ensures all promotional and BTL activities support company goals and objectives
  • Ensures efficient spending of regional budget and supervises the trade marketing spending the countries
  • Manages and monitors promotion processes and reviews their effectiveness with regard to price, proposition and sales turnover
  • Establishes global tools to monitor sales/ stock/ display status of trade partners
  • Tracks regional trade marketing best practices and share with the other regions

Education:

  • Having a bachelor's degree in Marketing

Working Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Marketing within the UAE/ GCC in Electronics / appliances / Retail sectors

Technical Knowledge:

  • Having experience in Shopper & Trade Marketing
  • Having experience in Brand strategy, Category & Product Management is a plus
  • Knowledge of Product Launch processes, workflows, principles and working templates
  • Strong knowledge of insights working with research and retail data, strategy, planning communications, loyalty programs, partnerships, channel management and performance
  • General knowledge of In-store Management processes using smart and effective tools to help markets increase their sales and maximise their ROI
  • Eye for visual design to improve brand impact, presence and visibility through stronger execution in retail universe on better knowledge of the shopper journey
  • Manage A&P with outstanding project and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
  • Thinking broadly about business,
  • Understanding needs of the market & customer, imagine disruptive products & services,
  • Having desire to do outstanding jobs, deliver excellence with agility and rigor
  • Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas
  • No restriction for traveling
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Arabic is a plus
