Role Overview :

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating AI initiatives across our portfolio companies. This is a hands-on role that requires strong project management skills, a solid understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to ensure timely and successful delivery of AI-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Coordination & Management : Lead and manage AI-related projects across various portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving progress toward successful outcomes.
• Collaboration : Serve as a liaison between technical teams (including developers, data scientists, and engineers) and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication, expectations, and delivery milestones.
• AI Strategy & Implementation : Work closely with senior leadership to define AI strategies, set priorities, and ensure projects are aligned with organizational objectives.
• Technical Oversight : Provide hands-on technical guidance, ensuring that data management practices, architecture, and AI solutions are implemented effectively and meet quality standards.
• Business Understanding : Utilize your business acumen to assess how AI initiatives can drive tangible value across the portfolio, aligning technology with overarching business strategies.
• Risk & Resource Management : Proactively manage project risks, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
• Stakeholder Communication : Regularly update stakeholders on project status, highlighting successes, challenges, and critical decisions.
• Travel : Be prepared to travel to portfolio companies' locations as needed to ensure smooth collaboration and project execution.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Proven track record of managing technical projects, preferably with a focus on AI or data-driven initiatives.
• Technical Expertise : Knowledge in data management, architecture, and AI technologies, with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Business Experience : Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align AI initiatives with business goals to drive measurable results.
• Project Management : Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum) is a plus.
• Communication : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and at all levels of the organization.
• Travel : Willingness and flexibility to travel to various portfolio company locations as required.
