Sales Specialist - UPS

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligned with the division strategy. You will aim to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model for this role is: onsite. This position contributes to electrification in the UAE. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting sales of products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned product group.
  • Coordinating between factory teams and channel partners to manage technical support, pricing, order execution, logistics, payments, and engaging necessary resources from all functions.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to promote ABB Power Protection solutions, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, and driving specifications of ABB core products (UPS, PCS, STS) with top consultants and end users in the region.

Qualifications for the role
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 6 to 8 years of experience in the critical Power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of STS, UPS, PCS products, and critical Power solutions for data center applications.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • Solution-focused, collaborative approach with strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Business proficiency in English and Arabic, verbal and written.
