Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine aircraft, engine, and component servicing/maintenance and approved structural repairs according to manufacturers' procedures, ensuring safety protocols for fluid replenishment, refueling, and systems servicing.
- Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the supervisor, utilizing Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), or other approved documentation.
- Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectifications, modifications, and executing instructions from job cards.
- Participate in fostering a safety culture by minimizing accidents, reporting deficiencies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in work areas, including the ramp, vehicles, stands, and lockers, ensuring tools and workspaces are free of FOD.
- Maintain knowledge of airport safety regulations, hold and maintain an Airport Driving Permit, and comply with airport maneuvering area requirements.
- Manage performance through collaboration with supervisors, utilizing the MyBC system to develop training and development plans.
- Ensure timely attendance to tasks to maximize ground time and prevent operational delays, including obtaining aircraft/component status and preparing work accordingly.
- Report aircraft, component, or structural defects promptly to the LAE and communicate relevant information during shift handovers.
- Use current knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance to assist in resource allocation using RMS/RTC as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience in Engineering.
- Educational qualification: 12+2.
- Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training, with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization, or hold an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
