Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out routine aircraft, engine, and component servicing/maintenance and approved structural repairs according to manufacturers' procedures, ensuring safety protocols for fluid replenishment, refueling, and systems servicing.
2. Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the supervisor, utilizing Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), or other approved documentation.
3. Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectifications, modifications, and executing instructions from job cards.
4. Participate in fostering a safety culture by minimizing accidents, reporting deficiencies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in work areas, including the ramp, vehicles, stands, and lockers, ensuring tools and workspaces are free of FOD.
5. Maintain knowledge of airport safety regulations, hold and maintain an Airport Driving Permit, and comply with airport maneuvering area requirements.
6. Manage performance through collaboration with supervisors, utilizing the MyBC system to develop training and development plans.
7. Ensure timely attendance to tasks to maximize ground time and prevent operational delays, including obtaining aircraft/component status and preparing work accordingly.
8. Report aircraft, component, or structural defects promptly to the LAE and communicate relevant information during shift handovers.
9. Use current knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance to assist in resource allocation using RMS/RTC as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience in Engineering.
• Educational qualification: 12+2.
• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training, with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization, or hold an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
