Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external system integration.
• Write, test, and tune SQL queries and stored procedures for seamless data exchange from Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT functions to design effective integration solutions.
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and JWT.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring timely and effective support.
• Ensure API code quality through structured coding practices and documentation.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Keep documentation current for internal teams and third-party partners.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies and best practices in API development and integration.
• Deploy and configure APIs based on approved business requirements under managerial oversight.
• Manage and assign application-level access according to the approved authority matrix.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong command of SQL, including complex query writing and data handling
• Solid experience in RESTful API development and third-party integration
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger
• Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and other modern authentication mechanisms
• Experience with SOAP, REST, Webhooks, and integration patterns
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and related data exchange formats
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, GitLab
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance practices
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to conduct training sessions and ensure application quality standards
