Job summary

Responsibilities

Operational Excellence
  • Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting work.
  • Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance as per task cards, ensuring proper documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used.
  • Conduct aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects following approved procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects according to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering instructions.
  • Sign off on maintenance tasks within your authorization, ensuring completion and documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate communication with other Engineers and Technicians to ensure proper task handover and continuity.
Safety
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed during maintenance tasks.
  • Use appropriate GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries.
  • Manage human factors to ensure critical tasks are not interrupted, following proper handover procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on Airbus A320 family in Base and Line Maintenance.
  • Possession of an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2 License and approvals for Airbus A320.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 License.
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) for technical communication.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
