We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Management AVP to join our team at Barclays. This role is ideal for individuals aiming to develop their career in business management within investment banking, with prior experience in related roles, preferably in Investment Banking. It offers a global perspective on Barclays' investment banking operations, focusing on transformational processes, especially in the MENA region.

The Business Manager will provide operational and administrative support to Investment Banking Business and Group Heads, while also driving strategic change. Responsibilities include managing analyses, planning, budgeting, HR matters, performance management, resource allocation, and client events.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
• Experience in Investment Banking (as a Banker or Business Manager)
• Proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and relevant software
• Ability to connect dots and drive process improvements
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Collaboration across regions and functions
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of MENA regional nuances (preferred but not essential)
