A Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

What will I be doing?

As a Sales Executive, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to generate new business for the hotel. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
  2. Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to drive business into the hotel/cluster and increase market share across all revenue streams.
  3. Negotiating room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  4. Developing and implementing creative local marketing channels, including social media.
  5. Preparing company contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions.
  6. Working within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
  7. Collaborating with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and comprehensive sales programs.
  8. Attending sales events as required.
  9. Producing accurate, timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and leads.
  10. Responding promptly and professionally to customer queries.
