Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Marketing to oversee and manage the entire marketing function within the General Procurement Department of a leading Property Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic planning and execution across a variety of channels, including ATL, BTL, digital, and large-scale events like project launches, agent meetings, exhibitions, and brand activations. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of the industry, creativity, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on delivering marketing strategies that drive measurable ROI and align with business goals. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategic Contribution o Implementation of 360-degree marketing strategies proposed by used department that enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement. o Collaborate with C-level leadership to translate business goals into marketing action plans and procurement-led initiatives. o Lead market intelligence efforts and competitor benchmarking to inform go-to-market strategies. Above The Line (ATL) Marketing o Negotiate and execute mass media campaigns including TV, radio, print, and OOH advertising. o Oversee media buying, agency coordination, and budget allocations for high-reach campaigns. o Ensure consistent brand messaging across all ATL touchpoints. Below The Line (BTL) Marketing o Lead and negotiate BTL activation through brochures, direct marketing, mall activations, kiosks, etc. o Execute targeted campaigns in alignment with micro-market strategies and product positioning. Events & Experiential Marketing o Strategize and manage impactful events such as: o Project Launches (internal & public) o Agent & Channel Partner Meets o Customer Engagement Events o Exhibitions & Trade Shows o Lead end-to-end planning, vendor procurement, branding, and on-ground execution. o Ensure alignment with procurement processes and vendor evaluation guidelines. Agency & Vendor Management o Lead the procurement of marketing-related services: creative agencies, event firms, media houses, printers, etc. o Ensure cost-effective, quality-driven, and timely delivery in coordination with the General Procurement team. o Drive process and procedure standardization for supplier management, data collection, negotiation, performance improvement, cost reduction, and communication strategies in line with best fitted global practices. Vendor Relationships o Develop and manage strategic supplier relationship and direct the continuous monitoring of the global market for possible new vendors adhering to quality standards in line with CLIENTS's business strategies. Candidate will be responsible also on managing internal stakeholders to make sure vendor is paid on time in order to maintain healthy relationship. Reporting o Ensure that all unit reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet CLIENTS requirements, policies, and quality standards. Experience: Minimum 15 years in Procurement for Marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the real estate sector / Property Developers Skills: Proven expertise in strategic marketing, campaign management, event coordination, and vendor management. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
