Job description

To provide excellent levels of customer service to Rotork UK customers by efficiently processing requests for technical quotations. Collaborate with the External Sales team to build relationships with customers through prompt and accurate quotation delivery and conversion to orders. The role involves producing timely quotations with supporting documentation and drawings for a range of standard and customized solutions to meet customer specifications.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this position is vital for the ongoing success and effective service delivery of the Front Office sales team.

You will be responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction by accurately recording quotations and related documentation promptly to meet departmental KPIs. You must verify the accuracy of quotations, technical documentation, customer Purchase Orders, and other relevant documents before they are issued to contracts for booking.

This role is suitable for someone with excellent customer service skills, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate is a determined problem-solver with experience in the valve industry, strong knowledge of electric and pneumatic actuators, and a commitment to delivering top-quality customer service.

Experience Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills at all times.
• Swift and accurate response to customer queries within pre-agreed timescales.
• Ability to produce sales quotations, prequalification documents, technical proposals, and other customer-required information.
• Ensure accuracy of quotations, technical documents, customer Purchase Orders, and related documentation to process customer orders.
• Execute and process purchase orders to meet delivery requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Someone Who:

• Holds a degree or mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Has at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the flow control industry.
• Possesses detailed knowledge and experience with electric and pneumatic actuator products.
• Understands engineering drawings.
• Has a background in Customer Service.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft AX.
• Fluent in English.
