Job description

Director, Treasury & Trade Solutions Head & Corporate, Commercial & Public Sector Sales Head - UAE (UAE nationals only)

Responsible for leading the Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) business in the UAE, encompassing product development, sales, and client relationship management within Cash Management and Trade. Ensures alignment of TTS strategic vision with overall Citi franchise strategy, market trends, and customer needs. Manages TTS revenues, expenses, and EBIT, driving innovation and growth across client segments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement country and regional TTS strategies.
  2. Manage Product P&L, including revenue, expenses, and net income plans.
  3. Oversee performance measurement and business growth in revenue, volume, and assets.
  4. Handle regulatory affairs, technology development, and infrastructure upgrades.
  5. Participate in governance committees and collaborate with internal functions.
  6. Lead talent development and retention initiatives.
  7. Build a strong sales pipeline through client relationships and partner coordination.
  8. Drive product positioning, pricing, and marketing strategies for various segments.
  9. Foster innovation and inorganic growth via partnerships and alliances.
  10. Develop networks and payment distribution strategies, including new channels.
  11. Promote a culture of world-class product development and innovation.
  12. Ensure competitive product offerings that meet client needs and strategic objectives.
  13. Identify strategic opportunities for large-scale partnerships and alliances.
  14. Create and execute an annual financial plan aligned with key drivers.
  15. Lead transformational initiatives to optimize resources and operational models.

Additionally, this role includes responsibility for Public Sector Sales in the Middle East & Pakistan (MEP) Cluster and North Africa & Levant Cluster (NAL).

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years banking experience, including 8-10+ years managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry ecosystem and key connections.
  • Proven leadership in multi-functional matrix environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
