We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP Procurement Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the real estate or construction sectors, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Dubai or the Gulf countries. This role involves managing procurement processes, vendor relations, and contract negotiations to support our ongoing and upcoming real estate projects, focusing on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and civil works procurement.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
2. Review specifications and quantities of requested materials to ensure compliance with project requirements and provide final approval.
3. Manage the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
4. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
5. Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and supplier performance.
6. Conduct market research to stay informed about trends and emerging technologies in construction, MEP, and real estate sectors.
7. Collaborate with project managers and other department heads for coordination and support.
8. Oversee procurement specifically for MEP and civil works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
9. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in the construction industry in Dubai or other Gulf countries.
• Proven expertise in MEP and civil works procurement.
• Practical experience related to construction projects and material applications.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance in the UAE.
• Track record of managing budgets and achieving cost reductions while maintaining quality.
• Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant procurement software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
