Qualifications

  • At least 14 years of experience in Instrumentation, Control, and Safety Systems.
  • Safety Training B Certificates and TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Safety System Engineering Team in various projects.
  • Prepare and review work procedures and hardware/product specifications.
  • Monitor and control project progress and adhere to quality plans.

Job Purpose
  • Lead the detailed engineering, design, assembly, and testing team for various Safety Instrumented Systems according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Lead the Safety System Engineering Team in projects.
  • Review project technical requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Prepare and review work procedures and hardware/product specifications.
  • Report to the Project Manager on daily activities.
  • Perform and review detailed engineering, design, assembly, and testing of systems per project specifications.
  • Prepare and review Bill of Materials for Safety Systems.
  • Coordinate with Customer Engineers on technical issues.
  • Prepare and review Purchase Orders for project materials.
  • Assist Project Engineers as needed for technical issues.
  • Prepare Safety Validation Plans for projects.
  • Coordinate with Document Control and QC teams for documentation and inspection activities.
  • Arrange internal meetings and project walkthroughs to meet milestones.
  • Monitor and control project progress.
  • Participate in site acceptance tests, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Adhere to project schedules and quality plans.
  • Prepare scope of work deviations and track them.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical.
  • At least 14 years of experience in Instrumentation, Control, and Safety Systems.
  • Safety Training B Certificates.
  • TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (preferred).
Required Competencies & Skills
  • Basic IT knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
  • Strong project report writing skills.
  • Experience with project design engineering packages and related software.
