Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team inAbu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture building andexperience in identifying and developing business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, andsupporting investment initiatives. Experience working with government or semi-governmententities in the UAE is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new investment, partnership, and businessopportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and keyindustry stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing high-quality business proposals, investment decks, tendersubmissions, and pitch materials.
  • Support negotiations and partnership discussions with prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Finance, Legal, and Operations toensure alignment and efficient project delivery.
  • Represent the company at industry events, business forums, exhibitions, and networkingopportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, contacts, business opportunities, andengagement activities.
  • Support the preparation of regular business development reports, sales forecasts, andstrategic intelligence briefs for senior management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and emerging sector opportunities.
  • Develop and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data and propose cost-effective strategies to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, with a focus on venturebuilding.
  • Proven experience working with government or semi-government entities in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, strategic planning, and commercialnegotiations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
