Job description

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a prominent player in the retail and perfume manufacturing sector across the UAE, for the position of HR Lead. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven HR professional to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational success, and fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete Performance Management System (PMS), including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, talent assessment, succession planning, high-potential identification, and critical role analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior management and department heads to design, communicate, and implement KRAs/KPIs and performance management processes.
  • Manage the entire performance appraisal cycle for designated regions, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Support line managers in executing the performance management framework effectively and address any challenges during the process.
  • Analyze performance data, generate detailed reports, provide statistical insights, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Develop and implement HR policies tailored to regional requirements while aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct talent reviews and assessments to identify and retain high-potential employees, emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
  • Establish competency frameworks to define key skills and bridge development gaps between current and desired capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic partner in designing and implementing sourcing and recruitment strategies that meet business needs.
  • Utilize internal data and external benchmarks to identify talent trends and performance drivers for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective communication and performance-driven initiatives.
  • Align talent management and performance initiatives with broader organizational goals to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage the complete talent acquisition lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees across designated regions.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages, including salary structures, bonus plans, and incentives.
  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Implement employee engagement strategies to boost morale and reduce turnover.
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives to support business transformation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records as per legal and organizational requirements.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor laws and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Manage the HR department's budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective HR solutions.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned regions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 1014 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the manufacturing and retail sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor laws, HR systems, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in performance management, talent development, and strategic HR planning.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities for insight-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a dynamic business environment.
  • High proficiency in HRIS, data analytics tools, and performance management software.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
