JOB PURPOSE
Manage ADNOC Aviation refuelling activities (Into-plane operations) and non-refuelling activities (Depot & Hydrant Operations), along with marketing & business development at all civil airports/airstrips within Abu Dhabi region and Island Airport, in compliance with company procedures, local & international laws, and customer specifications.
Business Management
- Prepare quotations for additional aviation services, ensure proper delivery, invoicing, and payment collection.
- Maintain a valid credit & carnet customer list for airport depot operations.
- Ensure services are delivered only to permitted customers as confirmed by the aviation sales team.
- Ensure availability of monthly posted airport prices for cash sales at all airports.
- Oversee timely cash collection from non-credit customers, deposit in bank, and coordinate cheque collection from credit customers.
- Participate in business development and promotional activities.
Into-Plane Operations
- Ensure safe and compliant delivery of aircraft refuelling & defuelling services as per IATA SLA and company procedures.
- Ensure aviation fuels meet latest specifications (Jet A-1, Avgas 100LL).
- Maintain valid refuelling liability insurance of at least one billion USD.
- Estimate sales at all airports within responsibility.
- Allocate resources and personnel, prepare duty rosters.
- Ensure timely renewal of vehicle registrations, passes, and effective communication with airport authorities.
- Ensure refuelling services are compliant with aircraft types and hydrant systems.
- Monitor and improve asset utilization.
Depot & Hydrant Operations
- Maintain minimum stock levels as per IATA recommendations, coordinate fuel availability.
- Ensure timely closure of stock and financial systems.
- Ensure insurance coverage for assets.
- Preserve aviation fuel integrity from receipt to delivery.
- Ensure depot & hydrant operations comply with JIG requirements.
Quality, Safety, Business, Risk & Compliance Control
- Perform timely quality checks within permitted deviations.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, JIG, and IATA requirements; raise variances if necessary.
- Maintain QMS documents as per legal and company standards.
- Participate in incident investigations, audits, risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
- Conduct airport emergency response exercises.
- Ensure safe, reliable operations, proper coordination with maintenance, and customer complaint resolution.
- Ensure all permits and authorizations are valid.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and control operational costs.
New Projects, Expansion, and Upgrades
- Oversee infrastructure upgrades and modifications at aviation fuel depots.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for project execution.
- Participate in technical and operational projects to ensure timely completion.
Customer Relations and Complaint Resolution
- Maintain good relationships with customers and airport authorities.
- Document and resolve customer complaints satisfactorily.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met and investigate incidents or product losses.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or commerce.
- Minimum 12 years of experience managing aviation fuel facilities, including 6 years in managerial roles.
