Job Summary

As the Transportation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation operations of IIQAF. This will include managing a team of drivers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods and personnel, and maintaining the safety and compliance of all transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of performance.

Plan and coordinate transportation routes to meet the needs of IIQAF, taking into account efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.

Monitor and maintain the safety standards of all transportation activities, including vehicle maintenance and driver qualifications.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and personnel for events, conferences, and other activities.

Develop and implement procedures to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of transportation operations.

Oversee the procurement and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring they are in compliance with all regulations and requirements.

Create and manage budgets for transportation expenses and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the transportation team and across departments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and handle conflicts.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
