Job description

This is a C-suite new role, overseeing a team of internal auditors dealing with a large portfolio of commercial businesses across the UAE. Working for a prominent family office in Dubai, this Board-level position would suit a senior auditor currently overseeing a team of auditors while working for a well-known accountancy firm or an international financial or commercial firm in the Middle East region. Our client is seeking applicants who are currently senior directors of internal auditing, ideally having worked and been trained by a Big 4 accounting practice in the UAE or Europe.

For this interesting role, our client is looking for a professionally qualified accountant with at least 10 years of extensive auditing experience and knowledge. The candidate should currently manage a large team of auditors dealing with small to large commercial businesses. The role will require overseeing the current team of internal auditors. The job offers the opportunity to assess and oversee changes to the internal audit department and make strategic recommendations to the family regarding ways to enhance the team and further develop the department's services.
