Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure regular assessment and review of policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with supply chain requirements.
2. Establish a process workflow for stock movements.
3. Study new market requirements and present logistical challenges in consultation with the corporate team.
4. Logistics Operations: Provide end-to-end visibility of inventory from source to store.
5. Manage Purchase Orders (POs): ensure timely release with 100% accuracy.
6. Coordinate with suppliers for timely goods handover for shipment.
7. Ensure proper documentation for the clearance of containers from ports.
8. Work with warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and launch of inventory in stores.
9. Track shortages, excesses, damages, and process claims accordingly.
10. Review and improve supply chain processes, including automation initiatives.
11. Prepare weekly inventory forecasts and monitor actuals against forecasts.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make informed business decisions regarding inventory movement.
13. Regularly review freight and logistics costs to ensure they are within budget.
14. Analyze supply chain volume and cost reports; circulate MIS reports with insights to management.
15. Work with the corporate supply chain team to ensure adherence to group policies.
