Job Responsibilities
- Ensure regular assessment and review of policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with supply chain requirements.
- Establish a process workflow for stock movements.
- Study new market requirements and present logistical challenges in consultation with the corporate team.
- Logistics Operations: Provide end-to-end visibility of inventory from source to store.
- Manage Purchase Orders (POs): ensure timely release with 100% accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely goods handover for shipment.
- Ensure proper documentation for the clearance of containers from ports.
- Work with warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and launch of inventory in stores.
- Track shortages, excesses, damages, and process claims accordingly.
- Review and improve supply chain processes, including automation initiatives.
- Prepare weekly inventory forecasts and monitor actuals against forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make informed business decisions regarding inventory movement.
- Regularly review freight and logistics costs to ensure they are within budget.
- Analyze supply chain volume and cost reports; circulate MIS reports with insights to management.
- Work with the corporate supply chain team to ensure adherence to group policies.
