A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking a CSSD Technician to manage the sterilisation and distribution of medical items. The role requires a recognised CSSD qualification and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the UAE and possess strong skills in sterilisation principles and infection control.
To provide effective disinfection, inspection, assembly, sterilisation, storage and distribution of medical and surgical items to operating theatres andwards in line with company quality and patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To ensure sterilisation and related activities for medical and surgical items are performed as per company standard and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Accurate records are kept and relevant document audits are performed as per policy
To provide input into CSSD quality improvement initiatives
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A recognised CSSD qualification from an accredited institution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 4 years relevant experience in a CSSD department
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a CSSD Technician with the relevant healthcare authority in the UAE
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
