About the Job:
- Leading the procurement categories CAPEX, Engineering Services & Land Transportation globally, including subsidiaries, with a team of Deputy Procurement Managers, Assistant Procurement Managers, Senior Executives, and Junior Executives.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate procurement needs, major spends, and CAPEX pre-approvals related to the assigned categories.
- Manage procurement budgets, strategies, vendor evaluations, and payment terms aligned with cash flow.
- Perform routine procurement activities such as PO and contract checking and release in SAP.
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies and policies for CAPEX, Engineering Services, and Land Transportation.
- Manage the procure-to-pay process, including requisitions, RFQ, comparisons, negotiations, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payments.
- Evaluate and source potential suppliers strategically.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable deals and terms.
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs and participate in cost improvement programs like MAGIC TRIANGLE.
- Conduct risk analysis, mapping, mitigation, and develop action plans for procurement and supply chain in related categories.
- Guide and empower the team to achieve 100% process efficiency, focus on spend analysis, negotiations, and value creation.
- Track key metrics and KPIs to reduce costs and enhance departmental performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with audit requirements and DOA.
- Prepare reports for the GM Procurement and Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
- Incorporate new procurement software, e-procurement processes, and business procedures as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10–12 years of experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance Management is preferred.
