Job description

A leading retail group in the Gulf is seeking an experienced Manager – Business Analytics to drive data-backed transformation across core business areas. This is a high-impact role involving direct collaboration with senior leaders and a strong focus on using data to influence strategic decisions in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead analytical initiatives that support business growth across merchandising, customer engagement, supply chain, and pricing. • Deliver actionable insights that shape business strategy and improve key operational metrics. • Guide the deployment of advanced analytics and AI-led solutions, including automation, forecasting, and personalisation engines. • Interface with C-level stakeholders to identify data opportunities and present insights with clarity and commercial relevance. • Translate data into compelling stories and dashboards that influence decision-making at scale. • Manage end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring quality and timeliness. • Stay abreast of emerging tools and methodologies to keep the analytics agenda future-ready.

• 5 to 8 years of analytics experience, ideally in retail, consumer products, or e-commerce. • Strong command over statistical methods such as regression, clustering, market basket analysis, and optimisation techniques. • Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure). • Exposure to marketing automation tools such as Braze, MoEngage, or Bloomreach is an advantage. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify data narratives for non-technical stakeholders. • Educational background in quantitative disciplines (Math, Stats, Engineering, Economics) or an MBA from a top institution. • Prior experience managing AI/ML projects or analytics programs is highly desirable.
