Are you an experienced Time Critical Sales Professional looking for a busy and varied role that allows you to utilise your range of sales and broking skills within a close-knit team If so, apply now as we are looking for a Head of Time Critical, UAE to join our Dubai office on a hybrid model. The key role of the Head of Time Critical is to establish a Time Critical presence in the UAE, which will include driving new business opportunities and opening new sales channels across the Middle East Region and beyond.

You will provide Time Critical solutions to new clients as well as assisting with existing customers where required and other ad-hoc projects. To be effective in this role, you will demonstrate proactive prospecting, smart procurement abilities, creative presenting of offers, outstanding commercial awareness, insightful closing techniques, and robust administration of the sales process.

Accountabilities

Strategy

  • Taking the lead role in shaping strategic direction of the product portfolio sales
  • Responsible for outlining new approaches and business models to develop the business
  • Responsible for liaison with the management team to ensure resources and services to support and deliver the strategy are in place
  • Responsible for providing business direction into cycle planning, sector development and portfolio management
  • Horizon scanning to inform business development opportunities and identify market trends

New Business

  • Responsibility for business development planning, customer and competitor analysis, and proposal design to grow the business to deliver return on investment
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop/upsell existing business, and identify and pursue new business opportunities for our products and services
  • Preparation and presentation of business proposals to key customers
  • Work with product development teams and management team to establish, manage and report on performance indicators and success criteria for products and services

Leadership

  • Provide visible leadership to the Time Critical 24/7 team and also outside of the Air Partner Group e.g. key customers, consumer reports/thought leadership and working with new product development, Sales, Technology and Marketing teams
  • Attend and present at events and meetings with key influencers to generate business leads and raise the profile of Air Partner

Client Relationships

  • Responsible to ensure client relationships are maintained and to incorporate a customer care programme into the sales cycle e.g. developing events of a suitable standard to entertain customers and prospects
  • Attending key conferences and trade shows to engage users and purchasers of Air Partner products to generate leads
  • Provide market feedback about business development opportunities that could be exploited through development of niche content or data sets
  • Familiarising yourself with and having the ability to confidently describe and cross sell all of Air Partners products and services

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of working within the Time Critical environment, preferably within the aerospace, automotive or marine areas.
  • First rate product knowledge of Air Partner services with a good understanding of changing markets
  • A goal-driven, high-energy individual that is both an independent worker and a strong team player
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and convey information
  • Adaptable to change
  • Experienced working in an international, multi-cultural environment
  • Anticipates and intervenes, to recover a situation in a timely and constructive way
