Job Title: Regional Sales Manager MEA

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Regional Sales Manager MEA to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager MEA will maximize the exposure of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised and managed hotels across all brands within their territory. The role focuses on developing sales opportunities, managing customer accounts, and driving contribution to the hotels in their region. The manager will create opportunities to manage and develop existing Regional Accounts while also developing new business accounts across all market segments to increase revenue and market share. This role involves a sales approach in partnership with clients and travel intermediaries to deliver incremental revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Devise and implement sales plans for top clients.
  2. Negotiate and contract rates with key clients across all segments within the designated region.
  3. Manage group leads and RFP solicitations through Wyndham Sales Systems.
  4. Achieve revenue targets based on room night production, RFP acceptances, and other metrics.
  5. Conduct at least 25 sales appointments or calls monthly.
Additional Responsibilities

Sales Account Management & New Business Development

Identify and secure new accounts within the territory, build pipeline plans with revenue and room night targets by segment, and develop strategic partnerships with key leisure and corporate clients, travel agencies, and MICE companies.

Participate in client-facing activities such as sales missions, workshops, and industry events to promote WHR.

Work closely with franchise and management partners to understand their needs and educate them on WHR tools.

Internal Relationships & Systems

Collaborate across WHR units, support colleagues, and utilize business tools effectively to meet goals.

Self-Development

Continuously enhance knowledge of industry trends and prepare for additional responsibilities.

Role Complexity
  • Drive significant revenue into the portfolio within an assigned territory.
  • Manage accounts independently, mainly remotely.
  • Responsible for managing expenses and submitting monthly travel and entertainment reports.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial fields.
  • Extensive hotel sales experience.
  • Multi-segment knowledge preferred.
  • Full local driving license preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems.
