Job description

The role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, you will have responsibility for managing the daily operations of the regulatory department. This will include product notifications/registrations, extended producer responsibility, as well as special projects such as EU/UK REACH compliance and mandatory regulatory surveys/reporting. You will also oversee adverse reaction investigation, monitor/research, and execution of regulatory updates.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will manage one direct report.

What you will do:

  1. Oversee the daily operation of the regulatory department (including the direct report)
  2. Oversee the integrity of the Regulatory Platform
  3. Regulatory Projects (EU/UK REACH, Mandatory surveys/reporting)
  4. Product Registration and Notifications
  5. Adverse Reaction Investigation
  6. Regulatory Support for internal & external teams such as product claim substantiation, in-depth regulatory review (raw ingredients & final formulas), product artwork review

What you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree (BS/BSc or BA) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science-related discipline
  2. 5+ years of experience in the cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry
  3. Fluent knowledge of global (USA, EU, UK, Canada, and Asia) cosmetic regulations
  4. Fluent knowledge of USA and Canada drug regulations
