Job description

Supervisor / Export Local & International Documentation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and process all necessary customs documentation for import and export shipments, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Entry, Delivery Orders, and Certificates of Origin.
  2. Manage customs clearance activities through Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Customs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  3. Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, port officials, and HFZA representatives to ensure smooth inbound/outbound logistics.
  4. Coordinate with procurement and production teams to plan and track the arrival of raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods.
  5. Handle documentation for bonded goods, temporary imports, and re-exports in line with free zone policies.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs tariffs, HS code classifications, and duty exemptions applicable to manufacturing goods.
  7. Monitor duty payments and customs charges; reconcile invoices for internal records and audits.
  8. Ensure accurate record-keeping of all customs documentation for inspections or audits.
  9. Advise internal teams on customs-related restrictions, compliance issues, and shipment schedules.
  10. Maintain in-depth knowledge of UAE customs procedures, especially Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah Customs systems.
  11. Utilize UAE trade portals such as Mirsal II, e-Mirsal, and HFZA's online systems effectively.
  12. Familiarity with Incoterms, HS Code classification, and free zone bonded procedures.
  13. Display strong communication and organizational skills; coordinate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare DPC monthly statements and submit to accounts.
  2. Maintain Import & Export Shipping Status Reports.
