An established educational institution is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to provide impactful instruction in Computer Information Science. To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) within the Computer Information Science subjects and in at least two areas of the assigned program/discipline to second language learners. The role involves fostering a student-centric learning environment that respects students' cultures and traditions. The candidate is expected to participate actively in academic and extracurricular events at the College and within the community.
Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed to enhance student learning, bringing practical knowledge and diverse experience. Reporting to the Program Coordinator, they deliver instruction in undergraduate courses, including capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses. Engagement in applied research, extracurricular activities, and outreach initiatives is encouraged.
Teaching loads are assigned as needed and may not exceed six (6) credits per semester. Workdays are typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with actual hours based on the teaching schedule.
Salary and benefits details will be provided to shortlisted candidates. The HADEF Program aims to develop UAE National candidates' teaching skills and experience. Non-UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply for other vacancies.
