Job description

Sr. Technical Engineer will work and coordinate with the sales team for all technical queries between suppliers, customers, sales, and estimation team for the bulk trading section.

1. Involved with clients/customers to review their technical documents, drawings, specifications, project schedules, and delivery milestones. Coordinate with suppliers/vendors locally and globally to resolve all technical queries.
2. Liaison between suppliers and customers, submitting vendor documents and technical submittals.
3. Negotiate with suppliers on technical aspects of the product and coordinate with the estimation team.
4. Coordinate quality inspections, raise RFIs, and coordinate FAT or factory/warehouse visits as required by customers.
5. Expedite with suppliers and vendors for on-time delivery and visit factories locally as required.
6. Coordinate with logistics to arrange material delivery to customers as per the agreed plans.
7. Maintain ISO documentation records of suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Familiar with engineering procurement aspects in the E&I Telecom bulk trading.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience level: 5 years in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors in UAE.
• Valid UAE driving license and preferably own car.
• QA / HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Professional Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical sales in the E&I Telecom Engineering Solutions related to O&G sector (Field Instrumentation, Flare Meter, UFM, Flowmeters, Valves, Fittings, Telecom).
• Strong market understanding and solid connections with EPC and developers in the O&G and Power Generation sectors in the UAE.
