Job description

Responsible in taking food and beverage orders, suggestive selling and serving orders to guest. Dispatching Orders in the
allocated time frame.

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking orders and entering them into the POS system, receiving correct payment and closing the cheque correctly in a prompt and polite manner.
• Count and verify float with supervisor/branch manager at the start of the shift.
• Count and verify float and sales deposit with supervisor/branch manager at the end of your shift.
• Serving food and drinks and dispatch orders in the allocated time frame.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and sent out as per brand guidelines.
• Upselling menu items (applicable for satellites with store fronts).
• Making the guest feel at home and taken care of throughout their experience.
• Report any guest complaints to supervisor/manager immediately.
• Clear and clean any service tables of empty plates, glasses and condiments after the guests have finished.
• Cleaning the service areas and applicable operational equipment
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Re-stocking service areas and condiments.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Performing other reasonable job duties as assigned by direct supervisors and managers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma.
• proficiency in Micros.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.
• Capability of working in a high pressured environment.
• Capability to perform repetitious duties.
