We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive to join the Events & Venues division of one of the region's most prominent business groups. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue by identifying, pitching, and closing sales for premium event and venue spaces across Dubai's most dynamic business communities.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in B2B venue or hospitality sales, who thrives on building client relationships, understanding business needs, and delivering event solutions that align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify new prospects across local, regional, and international markets through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in corporate, government, and agency sectors.
- Proposal Development: Prepare tailored proposals and quotes for a variety of events including conferences, corporate gatherings, launches, gala dinners, concerts, and exhibitions.
- Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to post-event follow-up, ensuring smooth coordination and client satisfaction.
- Venue Promotion: Actively promote indoor and outdoor venues and advertising solutions.
- Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, operations teams, and finance departments for catering, security, invoicing, and contract execution.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, bookings, and performance metrics; prepare regular sales reports and occupancy updates.
- Client Support: Provide guidance on permits, approvals, and best practices for running events within their venues.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and communications teams to ensure event visibility and alignment with corporate branding.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven B2B Sales Experience: Minimum 3 years in event, venue, hospitality, or luxury brand sales roles.
- Client-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated success in building long-term client relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Proposal & Negotiation Skills: Skilled in preparing compelling sales proposals, pricing structures, and closing deals.
- Industry Familiarity: Understanding of Dubai's event and venue landscape; existing local client network is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple opportunities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and reporting platforms.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Events, PR, or a related field.
Other Requirement: Must hold a valid UAE Driving License.
