We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial forecasts, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive our consumer lending business' growth and financial health. You will play a key role in budgeting, financial planning, and identifying opportunities for financial optimization and risk reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and provide actionable insights to management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, analyzing variances and suggesting corrective actions as needed.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, perform cost-benefit analyses, and provide recommendations to support the company’s growth strategies.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to keep management informed of the company’s financial status.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and financial standards, contributing to the maintenance of the company’s financial integrity.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek to improve financial analysis and reporting processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in the consumer lending or financial services sector.
Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling techniques, and investment analysis.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial certification is a plus.
Experience with data analysis tools and ERP systems.
Knowledge of the consumer lending industry and its regulatory environment.
