Product Strategies
  1. Define the product strategy, solutions, and evolution of data interchange between systems as new relationships are introduced and project needs evolve.
  2. Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  3. Define the Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with prioritized features.
  4. Prepare, maintain, and drive the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases.
  5. Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  6. Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
  7. Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing product and sales costs, and anticipating volume, including costing for special and customized orders.
  8. Obtain product market share by working with the sales director to develop product sales strategies.
Product Management
  1. Provide information management techniques to make solutions sustainable.
  2. Provide in-depth knowledge of each product, usage, and analysis to internal and external users.
  3. Responsible for product launch and release plans.
  4. Coordinate internal and external product launches with all relevant teams.
  5. Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
  6. Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
  7. Conduct product continuous improvement.
  8. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
Market Research
  1. Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  2. Monitor subject matter experts in products and markets to provide vision and leadership to technology R&D efforts.
  3. Assess product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
Relationship Management
  1. Define and analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
  2. Communicate product and detailed data specifications to internal teams and partners to support product positioning and customer demand as part of new product development.
  3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales and product teams regarding data strategies to support partners and internal teams.
  4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through structured stakeholder management plans and tracking.
  5. Ensure current partners are satisfied and deliver exceptional service within internal departments and to partners.
  6. Resolve technical, data, business obstacles, or customer satisfaction issues.
Reporting
  1. Conduct weekly and month-end reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Prepare presentations for partners to improve the product and enhance their performance.
