Product Strategies
- Define the product strategy, solutions, and evolution of data interchange between systems as new relationships are introduced and project needs evolve.
- Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Define the Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with prioritized features.
- Prepare, maintain, and drive the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases.
- Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
- Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing product and sales costs, and anticipating volume, including costing for special and customized orders.
- Obtain product market share by working with the sales director to develop product sales strategies.
Product Management
- Provide information management techniques to make solutions sustainable.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of each product, usage, and analysis to internal and external users.
- Responsible for product launch and release plans.
- Coordinate internal and external product launches with all relevant teams.
- Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
- Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
- Conduct product continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
Market Research
- Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Monitor subject matter experts in products and markets to provide vision and leadership to technology R&D efforts.
- Assess product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
Relationship Management
- Define and analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
- Communicate product and detailed data specifications to internal teams and partners to support product positioning and customer demand as part of new product development.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales and product teams regarding data strategies to support partners and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through structured stakeholder management plans and tracking.
- Ensure current partners are satisfied and deliver exceptional service within internal departments and to partners.
- Resolve technical, data, business obstacles, or customer satisfaction issues.
Reporting
- Conduct weekly and month-end reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for partners to improve the product and enhance their performance.
