Hiring for Legal Manager for a Reputed Insurance Company at Dubai

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor of Law.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience.

Industry: Candidate should have some experience of the insurance industry.

Language Mandatory - Bilingual ( Arabic and English)

Accountabilities

  • Drafting and review of agreements and other legal matters
  • Drafting and review of various kinds of agreements (Confidentiality Agreements, Broker Agreements, Agreements with Third Party Administrators, Service Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Reinsurance agreements etc.)
  • Drafting and/or review of insurance policy wordings
  • Advising stakeholders on various legal matters (for eg. insurance claims, applicability of international sanctions, impact of new regulations etc.)
  • Drafting and/or review of internal policies and procedures

Insurance Regulations

  • Keeping abreast of new rules and regulations
  • Advising the management on applicability of new rules/regulations and its impact on business operations

Liaising with government authorities

  • Liaising with Central Bank and other government and regulatory authorities
  • Ensuring that the company's registration and licenses are renewed in a timely manner and assist in maintaining proper legal documentation

Other matters

  • Assisting in maintaining relationship with banks/financial institutions, KYC compliance
  • Have good understanding of Anti-Money Laundering, FATCA/CRS etc.
