|About the role

The Analyst, Cards Operations, is responsible for supporting card operations, help desk management for participant banks, card issuers & acquirers, ATMs, and ensuring the timely resolution within the agreed SLAs. This role requires coordination with the technology department to ensure the smooth running of Jaywan operations and processes.

|What You’ll Do

  1. Provide support in day-to-day Card operations activities covering acquiring and issuer operations.
  2. Knowledge of ICS card operations for: Disputes Management, Card Account Reconciliation, Card Scheme rules and Policies for Card present and E-commerce.
  3. Resolve scheme disputes within required SLAs and provide timely responses to issuers and acquirers.
  4. Provide inputs in framing Scheme rules and Operating Processes for Card Schemes – Pre-Paid, Debit, Credit, etc.
  5. Support the operations team in onboarding new licensed financial institutions/Banks to the Jaywan Scheme.
  6. Coordinate with the technology team in resolving help desk tickets and ensuring all systems are operational for the participant banks.
  7. Support the escalation and resolution of L2 and L3 tickets.
  8. Proactively analyze issues and implement preventive measures.
  9. Collect relevant data from within the company and participant banks, and present it to senior management.
  10. Create databases for data storage and future access.
  11. Track the progress of operational changes through KPIs.
  12. Conduct periodic health checks of business continuity, including testing, monitoring, and support.

|Minimum Qualifications

  1. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Card Operations – Merchant and Issuer Operations.

|Technical and Behavioral Skills

  1. Proven experience in Card Accounting, Reconciliations, Scheme Charges, and Disputes Management.
  2. Ability to contribute to formulating Card Operating Procedures.
  3. Experience working in Card Operations within Banks or issuing/acquiring companies.
  4. Consulting and project management skills are a plus.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

|Preferred Qualifications

  1. Regional experience in the UAE is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is a strong asset.
