A leading facilities management company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HSEQ Manager to develop and implement health, safety, quality, and environmental strategies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HSEQ environments, strong problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications. The role involves overseeing compliance, managing team performance, and ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.
Contribute to the development of the HSEQ departmental strategy and ensure effective cascading into policies and procedures aligned with overall business objectives and regional specifics.
Continuously improve Enova's Integrated Management System towards best practices across all departments.
Manage team performance by setting objectives, providing feedback, training, and motivation to achieve optimal results.
Functionally oversee all HSEQ matters within Enova’s geographical scope, coordinating with operations, support services, and adhering to corporate HSEQ guidelines.
Ensure compliance with IMS procedures, standards, customer requirements, and all relevant certifications to guarantee health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Support the implementation of company accreditation systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 41001, 45001, 50001) ensuring documentation and systems are in place.
Assist in maintaining the HSEEQ system, addressing issues, and recommending improvements for optimal performance.
Ensure activities comply with Permit to Work procedures and that client requirements are met and documented monthly.
Communicate system updates, incident reports, and safety information regularly to staff on-site.
Support risk assessments, incident investigations, internal audits, and training initiatives to promote safety and compliance.
Develop relationships with authorities, coordinate with clients to meet HSEQ requirements, and supervise subcontractor activities.
Review documentation, ensure standards are met before activities commence, and maintain records for audits.
Prepare reports on non-compliances, risks, audits, and incidents, recommending corrective actions.
Perform other duties as assigned, including night shifts and travel as required.
