Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Ellis & Associates Program or similar.
- Operational experience overseeing lifeguard teams of 50+.

Summary
Customer Service
- Assist in ensuring that department employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
- Ensure that employees also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
- Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Financial
- Maximize employee productivity through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and flexible scheduling to meet business and guest expectations.
- Focus on improving productivity levels and managing utility/payroll costs within guidelines, ensuring energy efficiency of all equipment.
- Embrace new technology and equipment to improve productivity and streamline work processes.
- Supervise lifeguard operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Conduct regular audits of lifeguard performance and safety procedures.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for lifeguards to maintain high safety and service standards.
- Manage lifeguard rotations and schedules for adequate coverage.
- Monitor lifeguard welfare, providing support and addressing concerns.
- Ensure lifeguards are prepared to respond to emergencies and provide excellent guest service.
- Oversee the distribution, collection, and maintenance of tubes and life jackets, ensuring they are in good condition and properly stocked.
Personnel
- Supervise department employees, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
- Oversee punctuality, appearance, and grooming standards of employees.
- Develop employee skills through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Assist in employee training to ensure efficient performance.
- Supervise service standards as per the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Support the implementation of The People Brand, reinforcing park values and culture.
- Ensure adherence to employee rules, regulations, and safety policies.
Other Duties
- Adhere to Rules & Regulations in the Employees Handbook and park policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
- Report punctually for duty, in uniform with nametag.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Foster good relationships with staff across departments.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and related activities.
- Support departmental trainers and undertake secondary duties as assigned.
- Respond to departmental changes as directed by management.
- Maintain a positive attitude and exercise self-control.
- Understand and follow the Department Operations Manual and policies.
Occasional Duties
- Assist with quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of equipment.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with Ellis & Associates Program or similar, including front-line lifeguarding and supervision.
- Operational experience overseeing lifeguard teams of 50+ in high-volume waterparks, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Practical experience in waterpark operations, including Training, Operations, and Risk Management.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
