Job description

Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.

Accountabilities

1. Ensure IFE maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical data and keep updated on current and new technical and quality notices, as well as general/technical information.
2. Execute and sign off all IFE related tasks.
3. Visit and troubleshoot any aircraft reported with an IFE failure.
4. Ensure maximum on-time performance by preparing all materials, tooling, equipment, and documentation in advance of tasks.
5. Inform and consult with LAE as required to maintain a complete overview of the aircraft.
6. Maintain a FOD-free working area and clean up the bay area before and after work.
7. Develop oneself and increase aircraft knowledge for career development.
8. Accept appropriate training for effective contribution and participate in health and safety matters.
9. Promote a reporting culture aligned with company ethics.
10. Ensure all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with correct labels.
11. Ensure tooling and equipment are cleaned, returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.

Education & Experience

1. Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAO II, EASA 66, GCAA) or equivalent.
2. 2 years in line/base maintenance environment.
3. Experience with Panasonic eX2, eX3, Thales, or SAFRAN SPI is mandatory.
