Your Role

The mission for this position is to lead the Edwards Vacuum and Atlas Copco vacuum sales team, business, and activities of the Middle East Region, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Yemen. You are responsible for continuously developing the organization towards growth, market leadership, entrepreneurship, and profitability.

The job holder takes full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet. You have responsibility for all technical and commercial aspects of the Atlas Copco and Edwards Brand Vacuum business in the entire region, operating through local customer centers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Be a coach and motivator for the Edwards Vacuum and Atlas Copco Vacuum Sales Team. Ensure continuous development of the sales team and have the right people at the right place.
  2. Stay updated on market price dynamics and competitor actions, aligning product pricing strategies with market potential and current trends.
  3. Develop the Edwards and Atlas Copco Business in Oil and Gas & Petrochemicals markets in the region.
  4. Drive the development and implementation of sales, marketing, and channel strategies to cement the local market for existing and new technologies focused on sustainability.
  5. Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, optimizing resources to meet territory management objectives effectively.
  6. Overall responsibility for financial results, including turnover, profit, working capital, and receivables.
  7. Be a key member of the Company's Management Team, contributing to overall performance and image.
  8. Ensure compliance with Atlas Copco Group's standards and Business Code of Practice.
  9. Implement promotional actions such as mailing, articles, advertisements, seminars, digital marketing, SEO, SEA, GMB, etc., in the yearly marketing plan.
  10. Define and optimize territory management strategies for efficiency.
  11. Support the Group's vision 'First in Mind, First in Choice' by fostering a customer-value and customer-care culture.
  12. Maintain optimal relationships with the Product Company to maximize business development.
  13. Support the preparation and delivery of business reports and presentations for reviews and executive meetings.
To succeed, you will need
Educational Requirements
  • University degree (Bachelor/Master's) in a related engineering discipline.
  • Additional degree in business & administration or related managerial experience is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in industrial equipment & capital goods for over 15+ years.
  • Experience in O&G and Petrochemicals with capital goods like Compressors, Chillers, Boilers, Vacuum Pumps is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge, with the ability to use professional knowledge effectively.
  • Proactive, dynamic, with entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing a sales team across direct and indirect channels.
  • Ambitious, with excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to manage people and foster trustworthy relationships.
  • Empathy, humility, and caring attitude to nurture future leaders.
Knowledge
  • Technical understanding and interest in new products and developments.
  • Territory management and sales techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and a desire to learn new systems.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, capable of working under pressure and multitasking.
  • Teamwork, strategic thinking, decision-making, and ownership skills.
