Job Description

  • Organize and control the staff within the assigned area
  • Maintain close monitor over the aging of stocks in the market and recommend the best course of action.
  • Take immediate decisions to resolve short orders while making sure that the client is kept informed.
  • Reviews the daily sales of the team to gauge the team and market performance.
  • Follows up on deliveries to make sure stocks are delivered on time
  • Generate reports and analyze sales per category, brand and product to measure performance vs. budget.
  • Ensure the implementation of the set sales strategies that enable the company to achieve its corporate objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of the team and take remedial action wherever necessary
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company’s maximum sales potential is realized.
  • Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position.
  • Identifies new accounts to penetrate and give directions accordingly to develop the distribution base within the assigned area.
  • Assist in formulating and monitoring the annual business plan to ensure the long-term success and viability of the branch and the attainment of corporate objectives.
  • Deliver presentations for the quarterly and yearly business reviews covering the assigned area.
  • Recommend new packing solutions or packing configurations that would improve sales or enhance the product presentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with specialized education in cosmetics or beauty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the beauty or cosmetics industry, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Professional certifications in beauty or cosmetics sales, such as CIDESCO or ITEC, are highly desirable to enhance credibility.
  • Preference for candidates who are multilingual, particularly fluent in English and a second language relevant to the market region.
  • Strong knowledge of beauty products, skin care ingredients, and cosmetic application techniques to effectively communicate with clients and teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade diverse audiences in a competitive market.
  • Proficient in using CRM and analytics tools to track sales performance, manage customer relationships, and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, showcasing a talent for team building and motivating others to achieve high performance.
  • A passion for beauty and cosmetics, coupled with an understanding of current trends and consumer preferences to drive relevant strategies.
  • Physical ability to conduct product demonstrations and training sessions, ensuring engagement and effectiveness in various environments.
