Key Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance teams, including technicians, cleaners, and other service staff.
• Ensure that all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems are maintained and operational.
• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Manage and coordinate third-party service providers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve facility-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service reports, and inventory of materials.
• Monitor and control maintenance budgets and resource allocation.
• Implement facility management best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Train and guide staff on safety procedures and standard maintenance protocols.

Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related field.
• Education: Diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or facility management is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise, motivate, and coordinate a team of technicians and service staff.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to address maintenance and operational issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CAFM) is an advantage.
• Health & Safety: Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
